Another round of the great live poker tournament series Unibet Open was conducted last week. Beautiful Spanish city of Valencia was chosen for the venue and it pleasantly surprised with nice weather and temperatures above 25 degrees Celsius. Nordic player Thomas Thang took first place in this international event, beating 360 players to take home the trophy and € 138,080. Thomas started 6th in chips and made it all the way to the heads-up battle, where he beat Andreas Hofmann when his 88 held against his opponent's AT, despite Hofmann flopping a flush draw and an inside straight draw with the two overcards to Thang's pair . Next stop for Unibet Open is London (instead of Venice as originally planned) in December.
