He is using his blockers to bluff turn, so he is not the biggest idiot. But he chose a bad spot to do it in my opinion. you have the K blocker to the nut straight on the turn and you have a gutshot and a FD, so if you bet you can definitely call a raise. To be honest you played first 2 streets fine, and if any street is questionable, it's the river. I think your hand very clearly looks like a set, so when river pairs I think he should slow down all his bluffs, so when he gets it in I expect to see some Q9xx, or QQxx, but then we have Q blocker and it's very unlikely that turn and river come Q-9, if he has Q9 or QQ. So considering all these things and that he is an idiot you can call river. Against a solid player I might check back turn, because I will not be very happy with a c/r with my bottom set, even though the FD and the gutshot gives us some nice extra equity vs a higher set or a straight. Checking back turn will keep the pot small and allow us to call a lead on any river no matter what and we can pick up a street of value from a lot of bluffs this way, or he may decide to thin value bet a hand like JQxx for example after we check back turn. Against a player which you know is bad it's best to bet turn and get value I guess, so you played it fine.
