After a long lasting investigation, Full Tilt Poker announced that they discovered a number of accounts determined to be using bots. FTP said that all the accounts are now closed and all the funds confiscated. FTP announced that via e-mail to some of their costumers but apart that info, not many other details are given. The site assures that all players affected by bots will receive compensation for their loses although they don’t tell exactly how this is going to happen. It appears that a software provider going by the name Shanky Technologies was selling bots for NLHE, Omaha and Black Jack on their site. Shanky Technologies have apologized to their costumers and also published a surprising statement - “FTP quite suddenly and without warning froze all the accounts, although it tolerated presence of bots all this time”.
