This play, 3bet c/r oop from decent players is very strong always. I've been facing nuts drow everytime when i called here. I would folded that hand on the flop, unless he is very weak monkey and you have some history to add.

Not sure, what is the best play here, but definitely check back is good option. Every time when i dont feel strong enough to bet and get my money in if i get raised ( for example that hand) i check back with hope to improve and take a better decision.

Naaah, don't be results oriented :p When we look at the preflfop action - villain 3-bets OOP and then checks this drawy flop, which often enough is an action that indicates he is giving up or going for c/c to maybe see a safe turn and decide. As a standard line though, if I defend vs a 3-bet IP, and original raiser check this flop, which hits us pretty well, I think our hand is in great shape versus his range and we have to bet.

If you have seen him to c/r in such spots as a preflop raiser, then check back is definitely great, and I do this versus tricky opponents. This is where a HUD comes in handy - I always have C_R flop and CR_turn stats up for these exact situations. It helps you determine if you should barrel with seimbluffs vs players who mostly c/c draws or if you should check back so you can realize some of your equity on turn if you suspect a strong c/r on flop.
As you played it it is not bad to bet/fold here, if we know he is mostly c/r sets and overpair with NTFD or pair+NFD like AhKxhx. A c/r here more often than not includes a higher FD and this kills so many of our outs, that we can find a fold.

After all, the best decision is, based on your reads, and history with your opponent :) and using the HUD. Is that right ?
Anyway sorry my mistake wont give my opinion anymore. Ill just observe :p

Yes, the lesson is that there should never be a standard default line in this situation and that having more history and HUD details on villain may change the +EV play in this situation from checking back to betting or even bet/folding.

caiko, your advise is definitely good versus the more tricky check-raise happy regulars, so keep posting :).
