Yeah is there any other play here than bet/call? I dont like it if he shoves on me, but if i bet and he folds some kind of equity piece thats great.

Well, certainly there are many other ways to play this. With only 30BB, it is fine to bet/call. But it is also good to use your position to check back this drawy flop and reevaluate turn. Because we do not have the FD, I like checking back if villain was 50BB or more, since our hand has some decent equity, but does not play well vs a check/raise, which often includes a FD, and this kills many of our 2 pair outs.

I probably check it back more often then bet, and then decide on turn. On a non diamond turn, our equity will improve a ton vs draws that hold the FD. So, if he leads a non diamond turn we can call, if he checks we can safely bet, if we hit one of our many 2 pair or trip outs and he leads we can get him allin on turn with much better equity, than we would have if we got it in on flop and he has FD with 2 cards to come...
