888poker network has been growing steadily over the last months and according to PokerScout.com it has surpassed Ongame's cash game traffic which is pretty impressive. We have a great deal at LuckyAcePoker, part of that network. The software has decent features and after playing a bit I was determined to make a grinders.org mod for it, so there you go here is the result .

Instructions:

888's poker client can be found in folder: C:\Documents and Settings\ Username \Application Data\LuckyAcePoker.com\ (or another skin's name instead of LuckyAcePoker).

For Windows 7, the folder is: C: \ Users \ USER \ AppData \ Roaming \ PacificPoker


1) Go the the above folder and backup subfolders Poker and Pokerex in order to be able to revert to the original software if you don't like the mod for some reason.

2) Download our mod
and unzip it to the same folder: C:\Documents and Settings\ Username \Application Data\LuckyAcePoker.com\ for WinXP or C:\Users\ Username \AppData\Roaming\PacificPoker\ for Win7

The mod should be working now. Inside the client you now have the ability to select our modded cards, cardbacks and table background.

Additional "Arial rounded" cards - if you like those more than the Pro2type cards included in the main mod zip above, then download this additional file and unzip it to C:\Documents and Settings\ Username \Application Data\LuckyAcePoker.com\Pokerex\media\Decks for WinXP or C:\Users\ Username \AppData\Roaming\PacificPoker\Pokerex\media\D ecks for Win7

Please inform me if there are any problems with this mod.

Do you still need those yellow spade cards? it's very labour intensive to do changes cause every deck comes in 5 different sizes, but many people use yellow spades so I might do it

Hi, just joined the site thanks to your post. I am on 888 but cannot install properly -- i get the black theme on my tables but cards and action buttons don't appear. Anything i can do?

Ok, I got it for 888 , you don't just replace the two folders but copy/replace the files inside the folders.

The table background and cards are great. Thanks a lot.


Just one possible improvement (without wanting to sound ungrateful !) : removing items that aren't useful on the table, like Status progress, other casino games button, even open lobby / identical. But maybe these are just for 888 , not for the other skins.

Why I get only decks folder in that 888 mod, no themes..
